What is Parkinson's Boxing?
Parkinson’s Boxing is a friendly, safe, non-contact exercise class designed especially for people living with Parkinson’s.
Sessions use boxing-inspired movements such as punch bag work, footwork and coordination drills to create a fun, full-body workout. It’s not about fighting, it’s about helping you move more freely, build strength and improve your balance and coordination.
By combining both physical and mental challenges, Parkinson’s Boxing classes help to stimulate the brain and body together.
Many people find it supports everyday movement, improves coordination, and boosts confidence over time. It’s also a great way to stay active, meet others, and feel part of a welcoming community.
Most importantly, it’s about helping you feel stronger, more independent, and more in control, while enjoying exercise in a positive and motivating space.

A typical session will include:

- Footwork and movement exercises to improve balance and walking patterns
- Strength, core and functional fitness activities
- Partner or group-based activities for added motivation and support
