Our Health Coaching service offers personalised, one-to-one support to help you make positive, lasting changes to your health and wellbeing.

If you’re looking to become more active, improve your confidence or simply feel better day-to-day, Health Coaching provides flexible support tailored to you.

By focusing on what matters most, we help you build realistic habits that fit into your lifestyle and support long-term success.

Let us tell you a little more about it…..

What is Health Coaching?

Health Coaching is a personalised support service designed to help you make positive, lasting changes to your health and wellbeing.

Through a series of one-to-one conversations, a Health and Wellbeing Coach will work with you to explore what matters most and support you in building the confidence, skills and motivation to achieve your goals.

A key focus of Health Coaching is helping you introduce and maintain healthier habits over time. This could include becoming more physically active, building movement into your daily routine, or finding activities that you enjoy and feel confident doing.

Rather than quick fixes, Health Coaching supports you to take small, realistic steps that lead to sustained activity and long-term lifestyle change.

It’s all about helping you take control of your own health, overcome any barriers, and create routines that feel achievable, enjoyable and sustainable for you.

What does attending Health Coaching involve?

Your journey begins with a welcome session where you’ll meet your Health Coach, talk about your health and wellbeing goals, and explore how Health Coaching can support you to make positive changes and make sure it’s right for you.

If you decide to continue, you’ll agree a personalised Health Coaching plan and start setting goals that are meaningful and achievable for you.

You’ll then attend a series of one-to-one sessions where you and your coach will work together to:

  • Explore what matters most to you and what motivates you.
  • Set realistic and achievable goals that fit your lifestyle.
  • Build healthy habits and behaviours that can be maintained long term.
  • Develop confidence, resilience, and self-motivation.
  • Identify and overcome any barriers or challenges that may be holding you back.

Health Coaching is centred around you. Rather than telling you what to do, your coach will support, encourage, and guide you to find solutions that work for your lifestyle and circumstances.

Health Coaching is designed to help people make positive, lasting changes to their health and wellbeing. However, to ensure the programme is safe and beneficial for everyone, there are some circumstances where we may be unable to accept a referral.

Unfortunately, Health Coaching is not suitable if you:

  • Are currently receiving inpatient care or undergoing treatment for a long-term illness that requires intensive medical support.
  • Have experienced a severe mental health illness within the last six months, where specialist support may be more appropriate.
  • Have an unstable medical condition that requires ongoing medical treatment, monitoring, or frequent changes to your care.
  • Have recently undergone major surgery and have not yet received medical clearance to take part in physical activity or lifestyle change programmes.

If Health Coaching isn’t the right option for you at the moment, don’t worry. We may still be able to support you through other services, programmes, or signpost you to more appropriate support based on your individual needs.

If you’re unsure whether Health Coaching is right for you, please get in touch with our friendly team. We’ll be happy to talk through your circumstances, answer any questions, and help you find the most appropriate support for your health and wellbeing journey.
