What will children learn during the programme?
Supporting families beyond the classroom
Eat Well Move More doesn’t stop when the school day ends. The programme helps children take what they’ve learned home, encouraging conversations about healthy eating, being active and making positive choices as a family.
By introducing healthy lifestyle messages at an early age, children can begin to build confidence around food, physical activity and self-care in a way that feels positive and achievable. Whether it’s choosing a healthier snack, trying a new fruit, brushing their teeth properly or spending more time being active, small changes can make a big difference.
The programme also supports schools in promoting health and wellbeing as part of everyday learning, helping to create a positive culture where children understand the importance of looking after both their physical and emotional wellbeing.
Through fun experiences, practical activities and memorable learning opportunities, Eat Well Move More aims to inspire healthy habits that children can carry with them as they grow.
