Our team come Highly Commended!
We'd love to introduce you to Dave Rohman….
If you have had child attending school in Blackpool over the past 18 years, it likely that they’ve taken part in an event or an activity that Dave has organised.
He’s the driving force behind an Inclusive School Games both with Blackpool and across Lancashire as a whole and works with school PE departments year round to provide inclusive opportunities to participate in a huge variety of sports and activities.
This week Dave was recognised at The Barclay’s Girls Football in Schools Strategic Awards for his Outstanding Inclusive Practice.
His passion for sport and his mission to ensure it is available to every child in Blackpool is never ending and we are incredibly proud that this has been recognised on a national level.
Councillor Jo Farrell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Wellbeing said:
‘It’s wonderful to see Dave receive this recognition in celebration of all of his hard work. Without a doubt, he is changing the lives of young girls in Blackpool and beyond.
Physical activity is so important, so Dave’s work is crucial to ensure more children feel like they have a place within sport. I look forward to seeing the continuing positive impact that Dave and his team will make for our town.’
