Active Wellbeing Suite update at Moor Park
We're updating your equipment!
Last year we brought the latest Innvera equipment to Palatine to improve the facility and ensure we’re giving the best we can to our members.
Now it’s time for us to do the same for our members at Moor Park.
The new equipment is the first phase in the development of the first floor at the centre, with further changes to the area being made later in the year; but we didn’t want you to wait any longer to get the new equipment.
It’ll be arriving in April, so keep your eyes peeled in the Active Wellbeing Suite and on our social media channels for more updates soon.
Here's what new equipment we'll be getting….
Why we love Innerva equipment
These machines have been specifically designed for safe, guided exercise, making them perfect for people with limited mobility, older people, those new to or returning to exercise or for people with a variety of health conditions.
Unlike what would be considered traditional gym equipment, the power assisted exercise technology used in Innerva’s machines means users don’t have to rely solely on their own muscle strength for the exercises to be effective.
Innerva work with the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam University who conduct scientific research of the impact of their exercise equipment.
A recent study they conducted evaluated the biomechanical, muscular and physiological responses amongst healthy older adults using their power assisted machines.
Results conclusively showed the immediate beneficial physical responses to exercising on Innerva equipment and showed the positive impact on the five elements of healthy ageing, assisting in maintaining and improving the quality of everyday living.
Just like us Innerva want people to get the best out of their exercise and continue to develop their product, recently launching an online app ‘Innerva Connect’, so all users can track their activity when they use the machines
